Information booths

During the festival there will be representatives from Jewish associations. Here you can meet old and new friends alike – and above all, get a lot of exciting information. You can visit the following associations and organisations:

THE JEWISH COMMUNITY IN DENMARK
Visit the stand of the Jewish Community in Denmark and learn about the Danish Jewish Community. Hear about Jewish traditions and holidays, Jewish cultural activities and become inspired by a very active Jewish community. Meet members of The Danish Jewish Community.

THE ACTION GROUP FOR THE JEWS IN ST. PETERSBORG
The Danish Committee for Jews in St. Petersborg will present their work for the Jewish Community in St. Petersborg.

CAROLINESKOLEN – THE JEWISH SCHOOL
Come and meet the Jewish school, kindergarten and nursery!
In February 2018 the school, kindergarten and nursery moved to new, beautiful surroundings at Strandvejen 93. At the same time all three merged into one single organization, to give children 0-15 years a Jewish identity that reaches far into adulthood.

THE DANISH ZIONIST FEDERATION
Learn more about the work of the Danish Zionist Federation. Meet members of the board and have a little taste of Israel. We look forward to meeting you.

KEREN HAYESOD DANMARK – THE DANISH ISRAEL COLLECTION FUND
Once again you have the chance to meet KHD during the Jewish Cultural Festival 2018. Pass by our stall, where you can meet the members of the board and learn more about how your support makes a remarkable difference through charity work for the benefit of people in Israel, who need most help – also from Denmark.

KKL
Visit environmental NGO KKL-Denmark. Learn about current and future projects in Israel, where KKL makes the Negev green and the Golan greener. Since 1901, the KKL has planted over 250 million trees, established farms and created green development in former desert areas in Israel.

NEW OUTLOOK
New Outlook is a Danish-Jewish peace organisation deeply concerned with the survival of the state of Israel and with the survival of Judaism’s humanistic-ethical values. Visit New Outlook together with the organisation Salaam-Shalom that focus on multiculturalism and coexistence

WIZO
At WIZO stand you can learn more about WIZO, both as a Danish organization and as a charity NGO in Israel. You can also support the organization by purchasing items like kippot, mezuzahs, Jewish holiday cards and Magen Davids.
